Wood Sculpture - Hmage to Vigeland

Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943) was one of Norway's must celebrated sculptors. The city of Oslo offered him a beautiful park as a permanent home for 212 of his larger-than-life size bronze and granite figures representing all stages and aspects of the human condition. This sculpture contains representations of many of his figures spaced around two circles at right angles to each other. Fun to sculpt but a challenge to photograph.
